Biarri built an efficient system for the computerized booking of transport movements for Savanna Energy. The software delivered to us is an extremely workable, efficient and user-friendly product.

The new approach has allowed us to reduce man hours and gives us a quicker turn around on job tasks. It also allows us to track our vehicles and kilometres travelled at the click of a mouse.

My colleague and I worked closely with the Biarri team and they were able to tailor the tool to meet our specific requirements. They also allowed us to easily troubleshoot any obstacles that were presented. In all, a very professional and well-engineered product.

Business Need

Savanna Energy is a global oil and gas services company that offers an extensive fleet of new and technically advanced drilling rigs for virtually all oil and gas depth ratings. Savanna required a modern tool that would help maintain satisfaction with the various Coal Seam Gas (CSG) proponents by effectively, and efficiently managing their communication.

Our Approach

  • Our developers worked closely with Savanna’s management and end users in Toowoomba, Queensland to determine what they required in a transport logistics tool
  • When Savanna was happy with the design mock-ups and expected functionality we were able to quickly, and efficiently build their custom transport logistics tool on top of the Biarri Workbench.
  • This streamlined development cycle gave us the agility to pinpoint any updates and fixes as they could test any new iterations of the tool through a web browser.
  • Savanna can now be certain that they will have added visibility, improved coordination between field services, enhanced responsiveness and added rigour to operating procedures.

The Results

  • The tool allowed Boral to begin measuring their non – liable “legacy waste” and its relationship with their total existing and future landfill emissions.
